After earning a B.A. in Spanish from Michigan State University, Caitlin deepened her language and cultural knowledge by studying abroad in Valencia, Spain, where she lived with a host family. She later earned an M.Ed. from Aquinas College and spent the majority of her career teaching K-12 Spanish in both West Michigan and the Nashville suburbs before taking time off to raise her two children.
After relocating to Boise, ID, Caitlin began working as an Executive Assistant for a boutique recruiting firm, sparking her interest in the recruiting field. Upon returning to Michigan, she joined The Mav Group as a Talent Sourcer before stepping into her current role as an Executive Recruiter. Time on the sourcing side revealed a genuine love for candidate-facing work — the conversations, the guidance, and the opportunity to support someone through a decision that carries real weight.
The Promoter is hard not to like. Extraverted, harmonious, supportive, and encouraging—they’re a valued member of any team. Promoters are charismatic, flexible, persuasive, and highly diplomatic. They love being with, talking to, and getting to know others.
When Caitlin isn’t working with candidates at The Mav Group, she’s a wellness enthusiast and an avid reader who never goes anywhere without her Kindle. Family is her core joy — you’ll often find her outdoors with her husband and two kids, whether on hiking trails, soccer sidelines, or golf courses. She also enjoys true crime podcasts and putting her amateur detective skills to the test, and as a dedicated biohacker, she embraces wellness trends (anything from mouth-taping to red light therapy) with the same precision she brings to executive recruiting.
“Caitlin is a great team player, expert researcher, and positive presence everywhere she goes!”
